As the Director of the Cultural Diplomacy Department at Qatar Museums, Aisha Al Attiya plays a pivotal role in fostering international cooperation and understanding. Her strategic leadership and vision are evident in developing and implementing strategies that recognise cultural diplomacy's fundamental importance as a soft power for change. Since joining Qatar Museums in 2011, Aisha Al Attiya has been instrumental in conceptualising and executing cultural diplomacy projects. Her ability to turn vision into action is evident in the successful past Years of Culture programs with partner nations, including Japan, the UK, Brazil, Türkiye, China, Russia, India, France, the USA, MENASA, and Indonesia. In this role, Aisha has built and maintained relationships with international organisations, governments, and cultural institutions, facilitating cross-cultural exchanges and collaborative projects that highlight the interconnectedness of diversity and cultural heritage.

Currently, Al-Attiya is working on developing the Qatar China Friendship Association and Qatar Museums Special Projects, overseeing initiatives that focus on preserving Qatar's sociological and cultural diversity. In this post, she is crucial in bridging the gaps between diverse communities and fostering global cooperation. From 2021 until 2023, beside her role, she was appointed as the Board Secretary for Qatar Museums and served as a member of several committees that provided insights to strengthen Qatar's cultural diplomacy and develop partnerships, such as the Qatar Kuwait Joint Supreme Committee for Cooperation, the Qatar Russia Joint Supreme Committee, and currently the National Committee -ICOM Qatar.

Aisha graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Qatar University in 2006. In 2015, she participated and graduated in Qreation Generation, a program with concentrations in Management of Cultural Institutions and Leadership Studies curriculum, custom-tailored for Qatar Museums. In 2018, she completed the Rising Leader Program offered by Qatar Leadership Center.
