Karen Brown is a Professor of Art History at the School of Art History at the University of St Andrews, specialising in Museum and Heritage Studies. She is the Chair of the International Committee of Museology (ICOFOM) and has coordinated several research projects, including Shared Island Stories (UK-Funded 2022-2027) and EU-LAC Museums (European Commission Horizon 2020, 2016-2021).
